The snowsuit roughs

I only made one layout for the first page as I had already had the pose in mind and I think that it works really well. The spread arms and legs both suggest that the snowsuit is so big he can't put his arms down, and that he's so indignant that he's pushing his entire body outwards.

I think that the first layout out of these three works the best. It's from the side which shows the curve of the slope with room for the tree to add further sense of it being outside. It also gives me a slight challenge as I find faces difficult to draw from the side. I also wondered if I should have the parent behind the child but I've decided that I prefer not to have them completely shown as it is from a parent's perspective.
