I drew out the iceberg based on a few different images on my pinboard but I also tried to incorporate the main descriptions from the book. Which were mainly the colour (which I can only use on the front cover) and that the top looked like an uneven tattered crown and that it had a circular grotto.
then I added the ocean lines.
Then I used the first drawing to trace the shape and draw all the heavy line work separately. Which I'm glad I did as when the bottom section got too large it became very hard to keep my lines remotely straight and I made a mess of it. So I drew some extra lines at the side which I'll hopefully be able to add on photoshop.
